The International Conformity Certification Programme (ICCP) operates under the authority of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) in Saudi Arabia and is proudly supported by Intertek. At its heart, the Programme, which now covers ALL goods, has a number of key objectives:

•     Protection of public health
  
•     Consumer safety
  
•     National security
  
•     Protection of religious and public morals
  
•     Protection of Environment
  
•     Prevention of deceptive practices

Failure by exporters to comply with the requirements of the ICCP will result in the rejection of goods at Saudi customs posts.

Intertek can work in partnership with exporters to advise whether their goods fall within the scope of the ICCP. Intertek's processes are accepted by the MoCI to issue the necessary Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to ensure rapid clearance through Saudi Customs posts.
